Primarily a rural municipality, there are many small villages located here, including St-Isidore, fast-growing Limoges, St-Bernardin and Fournier. The western part of the municipality is enjoying residential growth thanks to its proximity to Ottawa while the eastern part still retains its charm, with riverfront properties and many farms.
